He thinks I hung the moon and the stars
I think he's a livin' dream
Well, there are men
But ones like him
Are few and far between
Mama, he's crazy
Crazy over me
And in my life is where he says
He always wants to be
I've never been so in love
He beats all I've ever seen
Mama, he's crazy
He's crazy over me

Well, we had a wonderful visit to see my family and now we're back home. Lots of catching up to do now! Isaac's last semester of school has started in full swing. We're also both working. Pretty busy!
The Lord is teaching me that His power is perfected in weakness. Lately He's been reminding me that:
1. When I am at my weakest, He will give me the strength I need, if I ask.
2. When He does that, I am able to do things that I couldn't do in myself.
3. Then, He receives glory because, in my weakness, His power is perfected.

Isaac and I have been married for over a month now. Sweet!! God has been SO good to us. We're so happy! Thanks to everyone who has been praying for us - both before the wedding and now during all the changes. We appreciate it so much! The Lord gave us a DREAM wedding... it was so perfect. We're so thankful for everyone who came and everyone who helped make it our day to remember!
Immediately after the wedding, Isaac and I headed to Branson, MO, where we had a one-week honeymoon in a cabin on the lake. It was lovely. It was quiet and peaceful. Ideal spot! After that we headed up to Iowa to v ...

One week from tonight, Isaac will be here... and the only goodbyes we'll have to say before the wedding will be when we go our separate ways for the night and a few hours in the day. No more "endless airports full of the love that you deserve." Wow, that sounds amazingly wonderful. Yep, he's coming to town and will be staying in the area until the wedding. Praise God! I'm so ready. Seems like it's been months since I've been with him. I don't think my mind has grasped the reality of the fact that we're going to be TOGETHER ALL THE TIME soon. Totally unbelieveable.

Things seem to be moving along…at a rather slow pace, but moving none the less. As those of you who are married know the countdown to the big day seems to drag out longer the closer it gets. But it does feel good to be on the final stretch.
A couple weeks ago I was able to visit Rachelle during my spring break for three days. I ...

It’s official! Isaac and I are officially engaged! This morning, Isaac took me to the park… it was pouring rain, but he wanted to go stand under the pavilion because “that’s where we said goodbye last trip.” I thought it would be fun to run through the rain, so I gleefully agreed. By the time we got to the pavilion, we were pretty wet, so we stood around for a minute trying to dry out and laughing about the fun. Then I noticed Isaac was staring at me. I said, “What?” He said, “You have the most beautiful eyes.” &l ...

When I was 13 years old, my father gave me a heart necklace that has a keyhole and a separate key... and he asked me to allow him to keep the key. He told me that the key (in his safe-keeping) was to be a symbol of the fact that I was allowing him to keep my heart in trust for the man I would one day marry. To a young, idealistic thirteen year old girl, this idea sounded quite romantic. I excitedly agreed. During the last 11 years, I have often pondered exactly what it meant to "guard" my heart for my coming knight. For 11 years, I strove to honor my future husband by saving my romantic love for him.
After these years of waiting and praying and trusting, the time has come. As of November 4, 20 ...
