Things seem to be moving along…at a rather slow pace, but moving none the less. As those of you who are married know the countdown to the big day seems to drag out longer the closer it gets. But it does feel good to be on the final stretch.
A couple weeks ago I was able to visit Rachelle during my spring break for three days. It was a packed three days, but very wonderful and needed by both of us emotionally. I was able to actually fly for free on the airline miles I’d saved up and we had a wonderful time that shall not soon be forgotten.
Most of the invitations have been mailed now, so you should have received one. If you didn’t please e-mail one of us so we can figure out what happened to your invitation. (We do have some addresses we are still trying to find).
The planning for the wedding is coming along, as well it can with me working part time in school, and Rachelle in the middle of tax season. Most of our planning was done before the semester started, and before Tax Season, which has been a huge blessing for us as we have had very minimal planning needed right now. We also allowed enough time after school and before the wedding to wrap up all the planning without rushing things.
The Lord has been more then wonderful in providing me with a job at Williams International as an intern with the Engineering department. It has been a really great learning experience so far; as most of you know I have always loved aviation. So to be working for a company that manufactures small jet engines has some perks. Rachelle has been wading through piles of Tax Returns as April 15th looms before all of us. I can highly recommend their work, though I hesitate to do so for I know the more tax returns that come in, the more work she has to do. But with tax returns come money, so I suppose it is a required evil for the CPA business to succeed.
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the wedding,
Isaac & Rachelle
